America

Finding it fitting for my first post & topic; "America" is a place, an ideology, an ever-evolving practice that truly symbolizes what this page exists for. So much is to be admired about the American spirit, the American way, and the American purpose. However, America can know no bounds in shame, as practices antithetical to its original design have distorted its prototypical face.

In a time where politics have gone awry, serving itself in selfish mannerisms that disgust all individual thinkers, only the extremists have a voice. Being passionate is an honorable thing, but being completely partisan is a totally blind ambition which leads to being wrong at least half of the time. Many may argue "by trying to please everybody, you please no one". To the contrary, abruptly denying a middle AND the other extreme in a resolution is sure to create a solution which only appeals to the cheerleaders of a political party or those with an inflexible line of beliefs.

If one believes partisan extremism is a good thing, I present a demand, followed by a question to those whom refuse to meet the demand:

Choose one: Anarchy or authoritarianism.
How hard would you fight for a middle ground?

Life is dynamic, and America suggests "Freedom" as its endearing quality. Thus, an independent solution is to be found with each and every issue presented in our culture, our political system, and our respective lives. The beauty of America is touted to be everything from its Bill of Rights, to its innovations, and to its overall drive and desire to help with love and selflessness. Obviously, disgust arises when these characteristics are perverted, distorted, neglected, or otherwise abused. Being so closed-minded as to follow the party in an attempt to save face or even indoctrinate is exactly what causes such abuse upon our nations positive fibre as a whole.

Remember: those whom protect only their egos and their friends do not care about the constitution, because the constitution cares about every American.

This post is a general marker of what this site is all about: individual thinking and actual solutions that do not only follow an agenda. As such, I will not allow comments to this particular post.
